What does Mighty & Great mean?

 

Mighty & Great are attributes to describe who God is.  When I wrote this song, I wanted to speak to the sovereignty of God.  So often we talk about the things God does for us or we are asking Him to do something for us.  I wanted to talk about WHO HE IS.  So the entire body of work is ascribing to Him being Mighty & Great.  No matter what the situation, no matter what the circumstance, good or bad, He is still Mighty & Great. 

 

The Bible describes this as well...

 

Who is the King of Glory, the Lord God strong and mighty

Who is the King of Glory, the Lord God mighty in battle

 

Great is the Lord and He is great to be praised...

 

So as we move forward in this journey, I want everything centered around God being Mighty & Great. If you take a look at the tracklist, everything is about HIM and wanting HIS GLORY to dwell among us.
